All accommodation facilities are supplied with electricity and gas from renewable sources. The Guarantee of Origin (GO) certification is renewed annually by the GSE. The Pagnan Group resorts choose sustainable energy every single day. All ISA and PLAZA supply contracts use electricity certified with a Guarantee of Origin (GO) , which attests to its 100% renewable source and allows us to declare a CO₂-free impact in our sustainability reports. The certification is confirmed annually by the GSE. Gas supply for ISA and PLAZA also comes from BIO sources , further confirming our concrete commitment to a more responsible and environmentally respectful form of tourism.

We manage several photovoltaic plants across the Ferrarese and Polesine areas, generating renewable energy for tourist villages and local communities. Through new projects and energy communities, we combine sustainability, innovation, and tangible benefits for the region. Our Photovoltaic Plants: Clean Energy for the Territory For over ten years, we have been investing in renewable energy with the goal of reducing the environmental impact of our activities while also creating tangible benefits for local communities. Plants in the Ferrarese Area In the Ferrarese territory, we operate two photovoltaic plants: 800 kWh on a poultry farm : installed on the roofs of a facility not owned by us, this system produces energy partly used directly by the farm and partly fed into the grid. 99 kWh on our warehouse : all the energy generated by this plant is fed into the grid. Both plants were built around ten years ago and continue to make a steady contribution to clean energy production. The Scardovari Plant In Scardovari, we operate a ground-mounted photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 1.4 MW . Its history reflects our long-term commitment: 1 MW installed around ten years ago and fully renewed last year with new panels. 400 kWh added and connected in a “ remote self-consumption ” scheme with the Villaggio Barricata resort . Thanks to this configuration, about 70% of the energy produced by these 400 kWh is used directly by the resort. The agreement between Agripadana and Villaggio Barricata also provides access to incentives on the exchanged energy, in return for committing around €10,000 per year to social initiatives that generate positive local impact. Looking Ahead: Isamar and the Energy Community Our journey does not stop here. On the land adjacent to Isamar, we will install a new 1 MW photovoltaic plant to supply renewable energy to the resort. About 70% of the energy produced will be consumed directly by Isamar , while the remainder will be shared through the creation of an energy community . This choice will allow us to access a 40% PNRR contribution toward construction costs and, above all, to offer local organizations the opportunity to join the community and benefit from lower energy bills .

This hospitality project involves the inclusion of refugees in the resorts as collaborators. An initiative that combines social inclusion, training, and job opportunities, bringing together responsibility and innovation. In today’s diverse and complex socio-demographic landscape, the Pagnan Group has understood that true innovation is not only technological, but also human and cultural. For this reason, the Group has launched a unique hospitality project, integrating into the resort staff a significant number of refugees—foreign citizens in vulnerable situations—together with their families. Hosted in the resorts year-round, these new collaborators take part in training and inclusion programs, preparing for the labor market in a stimulating environment. The goal is to guide participants toward autonomy and subsequent employment, while also addressing the growing demand for workforce—a challenge faced today by every tourism business. With this initiative, the Pagnan Group has embraced a new path in contemporary tourism: one in which entrepreneurs play an active role in migration and integration policies, combining social responsibility, environmental innovation, and quality of experience. A form of tourism that puts people at the center, offering everyone—guests and employees alike—an opportunity for growth, discovery, and shared value. Today, the Group continues to carry out its activities with passion, because—as it often recalls within the organization— “the only way to stay young is to keep imagining and creating new projects.”
